Contact Sarah HERE

Starting therapy can be intimidating and overwhelming, and Sarah strives to help you feel safe and seen from the start. Her approach is based in the belief that therapy works best when there is a genuine connection between a counselor and client. She strives to do this with empathy, authenticity, and warmth. She considers her work with clients to be an honor. As a multicultural therapist, she is sensitive to the unique concerns of those with marginalized identities and welcome clients from a variety of backgrounds.

She has an interest in working with individuals experiencing low self-esteem, anxiety, relationship issues, religious issues, and identity-related concerns. She also works with couples to improve communication, build trust, and foster meaningful connection.

Sarah works with individuals seeking to process and heal from religious trauma. She has an understanding of the unique perspective of those who have been harmed by religious systems through manipulation, rigid beliefs, self doubt, shame, and control. She honors those coming from diverse religious backgrounds and works with them to develop a healthy relationship with their spirituality.

Your work together could involve challenging persistent negative thought patterns, learning new coping skills, practicing self-compassion, and more based on your needs. She believes that everyone deserves to lead a meaningful life, and that therapy is a tool that helps you move toward that fulfillment.

You will work together to identify your strengths and areas for growth. Therapy can be difficult, but in a nonjudgmental and encouraging environment, positive change can happen. Sarah is ready to meet you exactly as you are!
